About Cory
Welcome, my name is Cory, and I believe that our mental health is just as important as our physical health. Seeking therapy is an act of courage, strength and self-love. It is an investment in your wellbeing, your health and your happiness.
I am a Registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and the Ontario Association of Social Workers. With over 20 years of experience, I have provided assessment, counselling and therapeutic support to adolescents and adults across a range of clinical settings.
My Approach:
As a client-centered clinician, I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, warm, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel respected, heard, validated, and empowered to work towards their individual goals. My work is rooted in a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I offer both in-person and online therapy.

Outside of Work
When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending quality time with my son, family, friends, and my cat. In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, listening to music, and staying active by playing pickleball or darts.
Courage is not the absence of fear; courage is fear walking.
