About Hayes
I’m Hayes, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), offering counselling for adults and youth. My goal is to create and provide a safe space where you can be heard, understood, and supported as you work through challenges and move toward the life you want.

In our work together, we’ll explore your experiences, uncover what’s getting in the way, and build strategies that help you feel more confident in handling life’s ups and downs. Clients often describe my style as warm, curious, and easy to connect with.

My work is shaped by a lifelong interest in human behaviour and relationships, and by years of listening closely, seeing from another’s perspective, and building meaningful connections. I customize my approach to each client, drawing on ideas and techniques from Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and strengths-based strategies to meet your unique needs and goals.

I’m completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University (GPA 3.98) and my clinical training under the supervision of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I’m also a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).

I offer both in-person and virtual sessions, and I look forward to meeting with you!
Courage is not the absence of fear; courage is fear walking.
