About Justine
Hello, I'm Justine. As a registered psychotherapist (qualifying), I'm here to walk alongside you as you journey through the challenges and successes of this season. I began a career in counselling after working in the health care field for 15 years and recognizing the deep need we all have to be seen, known and heard. What I find most rewarding about this work is partnering with people, to develop the skills and confidence to move through life’s challenges and toward their values.
How I Can Help
In my practice, I specialize in supporting individuals and couples with relationship issues, life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief and prenatal/postpartum challenges. Together, we can work towards your goals to create a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle that is authentic to what matters to you most.

My Therapeutic Approach
In our sessions, you can expect a warm, non-judgemental environment and elements from multiple evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, solution-focused therapy, emotionally focused therapy and the Gottman Method.

My Professional Journey
My path to becoming a therapist included 10 years of community health nursing with parents and families. It was through my work with those families that I realized the importance of hope and connection for resilience and well-being across the lifespan.

What to Expect in Therapy
Our first session will be about understanding your story and giving you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. As we work together, we will clarify your needs and goals in counselling and take the next steps in your journey toward wholeness and well-being.

Beyond the Therapy Room
When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with family and friends, enjoying time outside and growing vegetables in my garden.
I’m looking forward to connecting with you.
Courage is not the absence of fear; courage is fear walking.
