About Chloe
Hi! My name is Chloe. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I hope to provide a safe and comfortable environment in which you feel heard, supported, and valued.
I began my journey into psychotherapy through my work as a Registered Nurse, where I have had the opportunity to support individuals through not only physical health challenges, but also mental health concerns. This experience has solidified my passion for caring for others throughout the difficult and vulnerable stages of life.

My Approach:
I take a client-centred and collaborative approach, moving at a pace that feels right for you. I strive to provide a space that is warm, non-judgmental, and compassionate. I adapt my approach based on your unique needs, typically drawing from therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also incorporate emotional regulation and mindfulness strategies to help you navigate difficult thoughts and emotions.
Areas of Practice:
I primarily focus on supporting youth (ages 12+), adults, and couples seeking personal growth and support throughout the obstacles of life. Areas that I typically focus on include:
-
Depression, anxiety, and emotional regulation
-
Relationships, communication, and conflict
-
Self-esteem and body image concerns
-
Trauma and grief
Session Expectations:
Throughout each of our sessions, you can expect to show up exactly as you are, without pressure to say the “right” thing. I aim to approach our sessions with curiosity and a genuine interest in understanding you as a person, as well as your experiences.
Together, we will work to explore your experiences, enhance your self-awareness, and recognize meaningful patterns in your thoughts and emotions. As well, we will work towards developing effective coping skills and enhancing self-compassion.
Background and Training:
I am in the process of completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and am practicing under the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
In addition to my psychotherapy education, my background as a Registered Nurse has provided me with experience supporting and caring for individuals who have experienced anxiety, trauma, grief, addiction, and other mental health challenges.
Personal Interests:
Outside of therapy and nursing, I enjoy listening to music, playing guitar and piano, and reading. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, often going for walks in the sunshine and warm weather.
I look forward to connecting and offering support in a way that feels right for you.
Courage is not the absence of fear; courage is fear walking.
