About Ethan

Hello, I’m Ethan.

As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), and my heart is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported.

I believe therapy is a place to discover strengths you may not have realized you had, and to begin building a deep, steady sense of hope within yourself.

My approach is grounded in client-centred, trauma-informed care. Warmth, gentleness, and acceptance guide the way I show up in the therapy room. I focus first on helping you find stability and relief in the present, and then on gently exploring deeper themes, inner conflicts, and the different parts of self that shape your experience. I often use visuals, stories, and reflective questions to help make this inner work feel approachable and empowering.

I care deeply about working with whole family systems, parents, young adults, and teens. I have a special interest in supporting people navigating depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, spirituality, and major life changes.

My path to becoming a therapist began in 2016 at Brock University, where I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology. During that time, I spent several years working with high school teens as a youth director at a local church in Niagara. I later worked in a high school support program for four years, walking alongside students through the ups and downs of daily life. These experiences shaped my passion for supporting youth, families, and individuals through meaningful transitions. I eventually continued my training by completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.

Modalities I frequently use include CBT, IFS, DBT, and Narrative Therapy.

Areas of Expertise:

  • Youth, young adults, and parents

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Communication, boundaries, and interpersonal conflict

  • Self-worth and self-esteem

Outside of the therapy room, I’m happiest with my family, outdoors, fishing, biking, running, and hiking are a few things I could talk about for hours. I’m passionate about connection, both with nature and with the people I meet along the way.

I’d be honoured to walk alongside you on your journey.

One cannot discover new oceans unless one has the courage to lose sight of the shore.
