Q: When is the Client Care Team available?

A: Our Client Care Team is available Monday to Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Outside of these hours, you can leave a message, and your call, text, or email will be returned promptly—usually the next business day.

 

Q: Who will I talk to when I first contact Abma Counselling?
A: You’ll connect with our Client Care Team. They answer calls, texts, and emails directly and help you find the therapist who best fits your needs.

Q: Do I need to know which therapist I want before reaching out?

A: No. Our Client Care Team knows each therapist’s specialties and approach. They’ll help you find the best fit for your goals and schedule.

Q: Can I text or email to book a therapy appointment?

A. Yes. You can text, call, or email our Client Care Team to ask questions or schedule a session.

Q: What happens after I’ve booked my first appointment?

A. Our Client Care Team will confirm your session details, send directions to the office, and answer any questions before your visit..

Q: What happens when I arrive for my appointment?
A: You’ll be welcomed by our Client Care Team at the front desk. They’ll help you get settled, offer coffee or tea, and answer any questions you might have.

Q: Will my information stay private when I contact the Client Care Team?
A. Yes. All communication is handled with confidentiality and in line with professional standards for mental-health care.

Q: How do I reschedule or cancel an appointment?
A. To reschedule or cancel an appointment, contact our Client Care Team by phone, text, or email. They’ll confirm the change and help you find a new time that works. We require at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible. See our cancellation policy here.
